| At the reception of the hotel the contact is very unfriendly at night. So you better take your hotel key with you in order not to be bothered by coming home at night. |

| Good: location very close to the beach, big room, great service, great view on beach.
Bad: to get to top of hotel you might need to change 3 elevators, which is ok in off season, but in full season might be a problem. Potential problem with number of sunbeds at pools and wait time for breakfast in full season.
In general, nice hotel, would come there again. |

| This was our second time being in TGR.It is possible that we ll come again. We liked the location: very close to Kata beach, very nice seaview from the room. But we would like to suggest making cosmetic repairs of the rooms. |

| Not service minded staff at all, especially at the reception.
All the rooms on the first and second floor were moisture damaged.
You also need to pay extra money if you wanted to have cheese for breakfast.
They said that the smoothies by the poolbar were maid of fresh fruit but it was just fruit extracts....
The night before we checked-out from the hotel we cleared the bill for the minibar because we were leaving early in the morning but when we were half way to the airport the hotel called the taxidriver and said that we haven t paid. When I told them that I still had the receipt they changed the story and said we still had 25bath we haven t paid for a pepsi. Anyway...can t recommend this hotel to anyone and we will not stay there ever again(even if it was for free). |

| Отель понравился. Расположен с южного края Ката бич. Удобно, так как по пути на море не надо обходить отель Клаб Мед( занимающий основную часть прибрежной лини Ката бич). До моря - пляж Ката 2 минуты пешком от ресепшен. Рядом с Ката Ной 10 минут пешком. Территория зеленая, ухоженная, без пафоса. Уютная атмосфера. Отель расположен на холме. Наш номер был в самом верхнем корпусе на 4 этаже. На одном лифте до 4 этажа, 2 пролета пешком, и на другом лифте на 4 этаж. Нас не напрягало. Тем, у кого проблемы с физической активностью учитывайте и рассматривайте номера в нижних корпусах первые этажи. Вид с балкона был просто замечательный на море и пляж Ката. На балконах деревянные лежаки и столик, что +. Хорошие плотные светоотражающие шторы на все окно и тонированные стекла, что + так как окна во всю стену. Есть 2 бассейна. Есть Спа салон (дорогой). Номер убирали каждый день. В наличии холодильник (лед не морозил), ТВ, чайник, бутылка воды, чай, кофе в пакетиках, шкаф, сейф и прочее + минибар и румсервис (еда в номер) за доп.плату . В наличии полотенца, для бассейна и пляжа. Состояние нашего номера и мебели бывалое ( для нас не проблема), но все работало. Завтраки стандартные + 2-3 горячих блюда. Есть ресторан, где можно обедать и ужинать. Для меня было 2 минуса в данном отеле: 1) очень шумный кондиционер (при том, что сон у меня очень крепкий, за ночь по 2 раза просыпалась от шума, когда отключала свой, шумел соседский); 2) чай на завтраке (хочется сказать грубость) и вода на завтраке с неприятным привкусом, + 1 раз на завтраке была явно не свежая еда, включая ананасы. Персонал доброжелательный, отзывчивый, все молодцы. Каждый делает свое дело исправно. Хороший отель в своем классе. |

| What a nice hotell! We stayed here for at first 6 nights, then another 2 nights. Big but familiar. Great breakfast, good room service and a quick made on call. Since we had two diffrent kind of rooms (ocean deluxe and superior), we noticed a difference in quality. The superior room was much more fresher! But the view in the deluxe room was fantastic. Some kind of ongoing renovation, but not disturbing. Perfect beach nearby with the best restaurants. We would absolutely recommend this! (a lot of scandinavians are staying here) |

| Sorry to say we where very disappointed with this hotel. Found it needed very much updating,We have been to Thailand many times before this visit,and would go as far to say the worst hotel we have stayed in. To say we had paid the extra for a better room, we felt it very drab although the sea view was pretty good. 10 days was far too long to spend at Tropicaal Garden resort. |

| Back home since yesterday. The hotel looks better on the website than in the real life. Much more in need of renovation than expected. Had a see view room wich had a nice view but, as said in need of renovation. Last time I used, which at that time was Jiva Resort and now is Central Kata Resort, which is much more up to date and not more expencive. A little more away from the beach, but worth it.
Had planned to use the spa and massage, but, at least as a man, not treated so well. Used a massage place in the central part of the city and got the very best massage treatment I ever have had and for a third of the price at Tropical Garden.
Most of the personnel didn´t understand english so well and only a few of the front desk personnel could give acceptable explanations in english.
As a Swede, I found the breakfast very heavy with bacon, egg, rise, pancakes and so on, and not of an kind we are used with, such as a choice of bread, chees, ham, boiled egg and so on.
And a lot of stairs. Didn´t care so much but to think about, if you are old and/or have difficulties to walk well.
What is good?
Very close to the beach and a nice view.
For the price, you can get better. A building in better condition and with a staaf better educated.
I can in the same time recommend, as a dinner place, Mom Tri´s grill and win. For a good dinner you have to pay 10 times what you can get a dinner for in the city, but what a place and what kind of food. Ten times is including win instead of a beer. Very nice and good. If you want to do something extra for your partner, ask for a table outside and have a nice evening. |

| This is the second time we have stayed at the Tropical Garden. We were very pleased again by the hotel . Very nice view from the room and the hotel is very well placed . This time we have requested support of maintenance for the AC system and it has been repared efficiently The upper level rooms give a great view over Kata beach . The hotel is ideally situated and access to the beach was easy . That time the beach was cloudy but it has been easy to go to Karon beach less cloudy by tuk-tuk . Overall an excellent hotel for the price. |

| Very much enjoyed the stay. View from the balcony in my room was outstanding. I stayed in the deluxe seaview room in bldg 3. I will say the only drawback is the number of stairs. 105 step plus 2 elevators! Otherwise the stay was excellent, hotel staff were very professional. Room service was also good. I recommend this hotel. |

| Great location and we had a great time. However if you stay in the luxery rooms you have to climb a lot of stairs. What we absolutly not liked was the compulsary Chrismas diner. The diner itself was expensive but OK, but the shouting Thai lady was awful and overall was it more a commercial act as a nice Christmas diner |

| We stayed 2 weeks in the begining of july and everything was ok, in fact we liket it so much that we went back after 2 weeks in Koh Samui. We were a little bit dissapointed when we came back the second time. They were actually unpolite and our flight was quite late, we supposed to go to the airport 7 o clock and they said that we have to check out 5 o clock and pay 800 bath or if we want to check out 7 o clock we have to pay 2200 bath. It was anoying because we supossed to fly many hours back home and couldn t relax before and we stayed there many days and they actually didn t care. Never go back there again. We actually never go back to Phuket. Koh Samui is much better. Highly recommend Varinda Resort on Lamai Beach. |

| The hotel was kind of a disappointment. It was dirty, the housekeeping did a terrible job (black hair in the bathtub, sand on the floor etc), and even though they changed sheets every day - the sheets were always dirty and stained. The hotel personel was confused regarding my reservation and didn t speak very good english. The pool bar was advertised to be open until 7 pm but closed different times each day so don t plan to take a drink there. The view however, was magnificent and the rate was ok and if you don t mind all the stairs then it s a fair choice. |

| Отдыхали в этом отеле в июне 2008. Отель достаточно большой, корпуса террасами, много зелени (видно из названия), пляж - 2 минуты. Отель не молодой, но имеет устоявшиеся традиции. Уборка, сервис всё на высоте. Завтрак вкусный и разнообразный. Рядом много кафе, магазинов. Считаю, один из лучших отелей в Кате по критериям: цена-качество-удобство расположения. Бронировали отель с сайта www.thaidveri.ru - ребятам большой респект. |

| Ett bra hotell med bra service och trevlig personal. Vissa delar lite slitet men standarden är helt ok.
Bra pooler, barnvänligt, en hel del trappor men de olika etagen ger hotellet en spännande utformning. Nära till stranden, bra restauranger och shoppingmöjligheter. |
