| Iv been to phuket about 5 times already and iv chosen thantip for my fifth trip.I had a great stay this time. My room is clean and beautiful . The staff was very helpful from the beginning. The location is great cause its a bit far from the hustle and bustle of bangla road.I had a wonderful time with my wife. And we will stay here again in the future. |

| I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks (in a superior room), and it was a great stay! The location of the hotel (close to the beach and close to the city) is perfect. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfast was very good. Would stay here again :) |

| It was a very good hotel. It has a good location to the beach ca.300 m and about 15 min. to go to Bangla Road. The staff were kind and helpfull. We has been there 20 days and we will come back another time. |

| Great hotel really impressed. Used to stay at Patong Villa but now under reconstruction so tried here instead and found it to be better. All staff were very polite and helpful, pool was excellent, good breakfast, deluxe rooms were spacious, clean and good sized bathroom with separate shower and bath. Motorbike for rent from the hotel 2 mins from beach 20min walk to Bangla. We will be back again next year with the family, thoroughly recommend this hotel a totally enjoyable stay. Thanks to all at Thanthip cant wait to return!! |

| We stayed in the budget side of this hotel. The rooms were fine and we ended up with a pool view. The pool was fantastic and we spent alot of time in it. The staff were friendly and helpful, I would stay again for the price. |

| We enjoyed our weeks passed in this hotel, good rooms with all facilities, very good staff every time friendly and kindly and a happy smiley security man always helped. The place is calm, away from the chaotic noise but at the same time next to the beach. |

| We enjoyed a one week stay here. Rooms were a good size with all facilities and kept clean and well supplied. There was also a lift. Staff were friendly and helpful, their English was better than my Thai! We were far enough from the hub of Patong to be quiet but close enough to walk to. Hotel food was as usual, with an excellent selection of local and international food within walking distance. |

| A great hotel experience from start to finish. The initial welcome at reception, the smart poolside access rooms, the great breakfast with fresh cooked eggs, the friedly and courteous staff and last but not least the happy smiley car park security man ... all made our family holiday memorable and enjoyable. |

| The hotel is really good. We were a bit torn between the reviews that we read but really loved it here. The reception staff were really lovely and friendly and always helped with an requests straight away. Some people might think that the walk to the centre of everything is a bit far but we really enjoyed it and didnt think it was that bad at all. There is plenty to see on the way and the beach is just down the end of the street. Would really recommend it! |

| WE ENJOYED THIS HOTEL IMMENSLY THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND THE POOL SPARKLING WE LIKED THE POSSITION AS IT WAS NOT TO CLOSE TO ALL THE HUSSLE AND BUSTLE BUT CLOSE ENOUGH TO GET TO .STAFF WERE WONDERFUL AND BREAKFAST GOOD WE WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.THE ROOM WAS READY EARLY AND WE WERE ABLE TO CHECK IN AT 10AM AND CATCH UP ON SLEEP |

| My wife and I stayed at Thantip Villa for 3 nights in a standard room, which is the lowest priced. Even then I had a room with a private balcony and view of the pool. The room was comfortable, the pool beautiful and breakfast excellent.The location of Thantip Villa is fantastic- less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and the road side eating places and about 10 minutes from the main market. We plan to stay again at Thantip Villa next year. |

| we took standard room, so we were staying at the old block. room is overall clean but if you want something that are more visually attractive, perhaps deluxe room is a better choice.
to the beach is merely 3mins walk. about 15mins walk to the nightlife, perfect for us.
breakfast is average. service is ok too. pool is great. but if you don t need hotel facilities but clean rooms, i d suggest down the main road, those small hotels or boarding house are better choices and they are 50% cheaper. |

| Hotel was fabulous. I booked a delux room which was amazing...very clean, modern, well decorated, with plasma tv on wall opposite bed. The pool was lovely and very quiet...you would never know you were staying at Patong beach. The staff were also extremely helpful. I can t fault anything. |

| Very nice hotel... almost high class. Hotel is all new with new room and wonderfull furniture.
Pool is also fabulous, just need a litlle bit more chairs around it.
Restaurant is also nice and breakfast good. Staff is very nice and polite. 5 minutes only to the patong beach (wich is not so great so we spent most of the day at the pool side).
Bad thing, no free internet in the room, Thailand need to follow ret of the world for internet access to their customer, shame...
Low season price very attractive. |

| My wife and I were very pleased with Thanthip Villa and will be returning in a few weeks to a higher grade room. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Pool, public areas and room was very clean. and the breakfast (A la cart not buffet) was above expectations. We would happily recomment this hotel to others.

| Room was very nice except no double beds but they kindly moved the twin beds together. All the staff were excellent and very friendly. Service was top notch. Some might find it a little far from the centre of Patong but if you don t mind walking (about 20 minutes to Bangla Rd) then the location was excellent. Tuk tuk s were a ripoff so never used them (100 baht to the beach which was literally a 2 minute stroll away). Overall I would not hesitate to stay here again. |

| Really great place and great value for money. Really nice rooms with all one needs. Restuarant and breakfast were fab. Hotel; is really well located with no noise but more than close enough to walk to day and evening places. Swimming pool is great and people/ reception were sp pleasant. Even owner was present and watching his staff perform. good show |
