| Phuket Island View hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The room we had (deluxe bungalow) was beautifully appointed and very comfortable with everything we needed for our weeks stay. The restaurant was brilliant, best breakfast out of all 5 of the hotels/resorts we stayed at, and the pools and other facilities were great!! All the staff were very helpful and made our week there one to remember! I would definately reccomend anyone travelling to Phuket and wanting to stay out of the hustle and madness of Patong but close enough to all of the island s attractions and on a much nicer beach, to stay at Phuket Island View! |

| We hade book 2 nights before we arived, but we staid 4 nights more. Its great location betwin Karon and Kata beach. On this time you can t swim on Karon and there is high weivs on Kata but the 3 pool and poolbar on Island Wiew is great! The breakfast on Island Wiew is very good and have many choise. The room is clean and big, coffie and te on the room and 2 bottle of water every day (we have only a standar room)chairs on the balcony.We are comming back! |

However the last three days of our stay we didn t have any hot water, I went to reception twice on the first occasion someone came up and said wait 20 mins still no hot water I was put for the day the next morning still no hot water do I call reception there reply was there is something wrong we carnt fix the whole level has no hot water... Why didn t they let us know?? Why wasn t there dome kind of compensation??? If I didn t want hot water I would have camped in the bush ... We had air-conditioning problems, our room was not connecting until the next day.. Will not rebook at this hotel ever again nor will I advertise for them .. Thank you Debbie Griffin |

| the resort was under renovations , which i was not informed of and did not have appropriate romms available on arrival. also hot water was only available on the first 5 days of stay otherwise we had to wash in cold water. breakfeast menue was very much the same every day,very borning after 4th day.also one of the swimming pools was unavailable and into the 8th day the other pool had a fault and was not available, which only left 1 pool in use for all holidayers. staff were very friendly and accodating, food for lunch and evening menue was great. |

| In general good hotel, but it was my first time in Thailand when pictures from the site were not corresponded to reality. Room is small and furniture need to be renovated. For the present moment I would say quality-price ratio is not reasonable. NO FREE Internet!!!What a shame! |

| The hotel was very nice and offered several pools with wonderful suroundings. The room was very nice and very clean. If I return to Phuket I plan on staying here again. The beach was just accross the street. The hotel was convenient to Patong beach without having to live with the Patong congestion. |

| Good environment and nice staff. the beach in front of hotel is little and not good. Bath facilities in the hotel room is worse, it is so strange, there is not hot water if you don t switch on air-conditioner, We didn t know that, so had to have a bath in cold water, my wife got a cold. and it is pity, only a clinic with a stupid doctor in Phiphi island. |

| Great hotel. Excellent location. The front desk staff are a bit cold, but the rest of the staff make up for them. Very friendly and helpfull. Nice clean pools and effiecient and quiet air con in spacious room. Will stay again on our next visit. |

| Fantastic hotel. Perfect located with Karon Beach just across the street. Great staff, lovely clean, large hotelrooms (we stayed in a superior room) and great value for money. As we have 2 children under two we enjoyed the 3 different poolareas very much, as they al had child areas in the pools. We couldn´t be more pleased with our stay. |

| If you looking for a big charter hotel - this is really the place for you. Nice poolareas, one with swim-up bar. Friendly staff. The food and the drinks was a little bit expensive, but that is what it is in big hotels.
The breakfastbuffet was great! They eaven had cheese, wich we had nt seen so much of in other places in Thailand.
Very bad was that the Internet was not free and they charged a lot of money. Every other place we have visit in Thailand was no problem to get wifi free.
Nice location, just by the sea. Near bars and shopping.

| My wife and I stayed at this hotel. The location was excellent, the food was very nice, staff were were also very nice. Rooms were cleaned every day. The beach was just across the road. Its only 5 minutes walk from Kata which has plenty of bars,shops and restaurants. We would certainlystay here again. |

| Ett mycket trevligt hotell där vi hade bokat standard rum en vecka. När vi kom blev vi utan kostnad erbjudna en bungalow istället,perfekt läge vid pol och nära matsal. Mycket bra service och en helt suverän frukost.
Hotellet ligger perfekt endast 50m. från beachen. Nära affärer och restauranger.
Vi kan verkligen rekommendera hotellet.

| Would never stay at this hotel again. Paid for the expensive bungalow and ended up right next to where they are building which continued until 10pm at night. Would have been quieter in the cheaper rooms at the back. The beach is unswimable with strong rips and there are not many shops near by. Not impressed with the service, better to stay at another beach. Koh Samui is much nicer then Phuket. |

Only room was in the 4th floor without elevator in the 4th row of bbuildings, so the way ways extremly long to the lobby and resaurant area. but all in all it was very good for the money which we paid. |

| First of all, I didnt like Phuket at all. But to say somethig nice... the sunsets were lovely. Karon beach is quiet. Phulet Island view was dead. The place was deserted. There was no life at all. In fact, there was a section in the front that had stacks of chairs and tables, as if they were remodeling but weren t. The tourist booth was closed down, and all that was left were old, cobb-webbed, out-dated brochures to Phuket tours.The swimming pools were okay. The main pool didn t have night lights for swimming, so you couldnt see at night under water. Sorts dangerous. The rooms were okay. Older and need some kind of remodeling. There were cups for tea and coffee, but no tea and coffee? There were no comlimentary water bottles either. No snack bar!! Breakfast was gross!! Paid for it, and didn t get up to eat.
Nice people work there though. Across from ocean. Quiet!!! But not the resort in the picture. Too far from other restaurants in Karon Beach, and activities.
Recommend tour agent next door, and local grocery store a few stores down to stock up fridge!!! |

| First time we have stayed at this hotel .The room was excellent and large , breakfast excellent good variety of choice both Farang food and Thai food
Staff were all happy and pleasant . Asked for extra pillows , there in 10 minutes . Only one of the swimming pools was open as there was renovations occuring at the back wing
Right on the beach , although prefered to go to Kata and KataNoi beach
Within 5 minutes walk either side of hotel , plenty of restaurants ,shops ,pleasant bars ,mini marts , internetplaces etc
All in all a very pleasant and happy stay . Can recommend this hotel to anyone

| after an initial mixup where they gave us a double instead of the twin i d asked clearly for, we had a pleasant stay. rooms were clean and pleasingly furnished and front desk service was responsive. the beach outside was fantastic as well! ...though it soon got frustrating being quoted B300 just for the cab ride to patong. |

| Very recommend this resort. The stuff were very friendly and helpful. We had a better-class room in 3rd level with a perfect view to outside and a very nice bathroom. Very clean and fast room service. Right now they are fixing the inside pool and the desks and chairs for main season. The only poor thing was the beach which was not cleaned any time but swimming wasn´t allowed this time. |

| Me and my ddaughter Mathilde had a wonderful time at Phuket Island View.
Its one of the best hotels ive stayed at. The hotel has a great location, free from street noise, and bars. Its ideal for children, and the pool area is great. The rooms are spacious, and very clean. The staff at the reception are very friendly and serviceminded.
I cant believe that I could get a hotel so cheap. Anywhere in the world you d xpect to pay 4-5 times the price.
Me and my daughter have allready descided to go back to Phuket, and we will stay at Phuket Island View.

| We were very impressed by Phuket Island View from the moment we arrived. Instantly upgraded because the Standard rooms are being reburbished, we were given a lovely bungalow set in a garden next to one of the three pools, at no extra cost. Indeed the cost of our stay was incredible.
The food was excellent, we had huge choices for breakfast & we had some lunches & dinners at the hotel too. The staff were lovely, couldn t do enough for you.Special mentions for the waiting staff, some of them didn t have great english but they more than made up for that with their friendliness & enthusiasm.
As it was a quiet time of year just beginning the Monsoon season the hotel was not busy with guests so that meant we had a lot of staff to cater for us.
Definetly recommend the Beauty Spa, lovely manicures.
We would definetly return to this hotel again. Can recommend the Tourist Information Centre in Karon. Mrs Jiraporn Tanrut really helped us out with tours & taxis without ripping us off. Also a fab restaurant, On The Rocks was superb, we ate like kings with champagne & fantastic for under £30 for the two of us.
We had a really fantastic holiday in Karon & can t recommend Phuket Island View highly enough. |

| The hotel from outside is not so interesting and since we have been in Karon Beach many times I was intriged to see what will be offered.
Suprise! The hotels pool area (all three of them) are beautifully located with great green areas! The pools were very clean and even if low season started well maintained every morning!
The breakfast was impressive. All you can imagine, very good variation with some change every day. As it should be for a hotel like this. The food was very fresh. The omelettes served and made on the fly were very good. You often saw the chef comming out to check if everything was fresh or had to be replaced. Well done. Impressive service.
Most people will not be dissapointed - the just shouldn t be.
Staff was great. Pleasent, friendly and we really felt welcome.
Location is great. Couldn t be better I think. Although I think that the bungalows can probably have some problems with music in the evenings from the area around the hotels north side.
Room (standard) is simple, but enough for the price and hotel.
Only thing that could be improved in the future is that the WiFi offered around reception area could maybe be extended to the rooms.
We will not hesistate to book this hotel next visit in Karon Beach!! Recommended. |

| very nice hotel right opposite the beach. excellent buffet style breakfast. great value spec at low season rates which kick in earlier than most other hotels in the area. Quiet part of Phuket which I liked because Patong was crazy! great shopping but will be returning to Koh Samui which I preferred as a hoilday destination. |

| Location is very good - just nearby the beach, which we visited almost every day. Last day we visited one of the three pools - nothing negative about that either.
Cleaning of room was excellent every day with new towels. And a towel for sunbathe also.
Beds were very good with a bit hard mattress - I liked that.
Breakfast was ok. Nice garden.
The only negative thing was poor pressure in shower. I m not sure if it was specific for this hotel or if it is a common feature for the area - this was our first time in Phuket.
Laundry service was a bit expensive, so check prices before using that service.
I would definitely come back to this hotel. |

| Booked a standard room for a couple of days and was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is located directly across the road from beautiful Karon Beach, which in my mind is probably one of the best beaches in Thailand (Kata Beach is just a little too quiet and Patong Beach just a little too busy so Karon Beach is just perfect!). There are ample shops, bars and resturants close to the hotel to keep you busy at night. The rooms are modern, spacious and well decorated. Very comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Aircon, TV and bar fridge (which you can stock up by yourself). There are 3 pools to choose from and one with a pool bar. The restuarant is cool and the breakfast was the best I ve had in a long while.
Will definitley recommend to others and will definitley stay there again! |
