| Nice resort with very friendly staff. However the hotel area and rooms are infested with mosquitoes.Despite getting the rooms sprayed , it did not help. The toilet, especially the shower area was a big disappointment. The shower did not have a shower curtain which was big or wide enough to prevent the toilet floor from getting fully wet. |

| I have stayed here several times and found everything to be great however I had never stayed on the ground floor, when presented with my room I was terribly dissapointed to find the room in very poor condition especially the bathroom mouldy, I returned to recception and asked for a upgrade to the second floor which cost me an extra 600 baht per night (well worth it) as the room was what I had expected from previous trips, much more upmarket and in good condition.
For those who may what to invite a (guest?) back to your room.... They have now added a 600 baht fee which if negotiated can be waved!! overall after the room upgrade (required) the pool is good the service is good and the breakfast is average but acceptable, there are cheaper places on the beach front however the slightly out of the way location is good in terms of noise at night and a good nights sleep is acheivable.
Only 5 mins interesting walk along beach front to all the attractions. |

| enjoyed my stay at coconut village. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms very clean and comfortable.the only negative was the young man at the pool bar playing loud disco music most of the day instead of allowing the area to be a quiet haven for families. |

| This is a great value for a nice hotel. I stayed there off season so the price was unbelievable and the room was very nice. A/C worked great, room cleaned everyday, clean sheets on bed everyday, great cable tv and the internet service was reasonable (buy it by the week, much cheaper). Hotel staff was very nice and acommadating. Was fairly close to beach 2 blocks and closer than other hotels of same price range. Will go back again. |

| As we arrive in the Hotel there was the same wing under new construction as we booked the Suite before. In our Room and at the poolside everything very noisy. The managment told us they have to renoved now becaus it is low season. My question is : Why i don t see on the Internetsite that this Hotel is under renovation when i want to book. This is not acceptable for the customer. |

| This hotel is in a nice area at one end of Patong beach. Only 5 mins walk to all the main action. Its a nice place but its a bit dated and in need of a revamp. The bathrooms are a bit old and in need of repair. The pool area is very nice with plenty of sunloungers. There is no free internet access here, which is unusual for Thailand. I d say you could get nicer for the same money. |

| Not so excited......
It was further away from the main roads and the hotel pictures were not really great. When we check in I knew this place is going to be good. It looked better than the pictures. The staff were always smiling and always there to provide you with the help. The deluxe room that we got was pretty big. The shower was ok, water gets pretty hot at one point and it will get cold again. I can’t really say anything about the breakfast but I did order from coconut restaurant. After a long night of drinking, I can barely move from my bed, starving...went ahead and ordered some foods which turned out to be pretty good. Within ten min or so...the food was delivered in our room. I almost forgot, the wifi internet that was advertise, we thought it was going to be free; well no it is not free. It’s actually quite expensive. It’s about 150 baht for a 1 hr card…the whole day; you can buy more of course. But asides from the negative stuff, this hotel is fairly good. I am sure you can find a better more expensive hotel but if you’re on a budget....stay on this one. |

| this is our 6th stay at coconut village nothing has changed much in this time, although like everything else prices are becoming a lot higher to book a room even though you get the same service as u did when we first visited in 2002.used to get a deal when staying 5 nights and got 2 nights free in april they have now put this back to may (rainy season) after all who wants to go on holiday when it really really rains! Hotel described as medium class and while it is in a good location away from the madness that is patong there are superior hotels in the same price bracket offering better facilities. Going towards the beach and to the left right on the sea front is the Bann Boa resort which we checked out during our stay for half the price, OK the pool area was not so good as the coconut village but hey you are right on the beach so next year we will definatly try there at half the price after all what do you pay for:a room and breakfast! |

| We loved this hotel. We stayed at the Coconut Village for 5 nights on the last leg of our 3 week journey in Thailand. Apart from them trying to scam us with a rather sub-par room at the beginning (we asked for another and were happily exchanged), our stay was delightful. The pool is a great size and there are no shortage of sun beds. A massage with Mamma is a must! If you like a firm massage, she is your lady. At only 300 baht, it is a bargain too. The staff are nice and helpful - The food at the main restuarant is also great. After a big night out, we spent a lazy day sleeping and getting room service. It was fast and delicious!
I have nothing bad to say about this great little hotel. Big enough but not too big to provide personal service with a smile. I like that. |

| Allowed very early check in (10am). Room nice and tidy, air con worked well, water pressure in shower not so great. Breakfast a bit on the limited side, few Asian dishes, bits of fresh fruit and cereals. Option to have fresh eggs cooked for you.
Only negative about the whole stay was quite an overwhelming stench from drain/sewerage some evenings which permeated into the room.
Really nice being at the far end of Patong beach as it meant you were away from most of the hustle and bustle but only a 5 minute walk to the beach/markets etc. |

| I was very surprised at the excellent service quality every staff had provided. Everyone was eager to help, attentive, polite and always with a smile on their face. The service is on par with, if not better than any four star+ hotel I have encountered. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of local shops within walking distance. However, the room and the facilities in this hotel is a let down. The first room we stayed in was modest and very close to the swimming pool. But large amount of water was leaking from the pipes inside the bathroom walls every time we turned on water by the sink or the shower. We requested to change rooms the next day. Reluctantly, we were offered a much larger room on the top floor but the room was quite run down. On the bright side, no leakage in the bathroom, everything in there worked fine. Another suggestion is bring your own shower gel. The gel the hotel provided was so thick that you can hardly squeeze a drop out of the bottle. The lounge chairs by the pool were also old and very uncomfortable that you couldn t place the back upright so you could rest your head and neck while reading. That cut short my sunbathing schedule a lot. All in all, I didn t enjoy my stay here, but to be fair, it is a value for money budget hotel for travellers. |
