| We feel that quality on Baan Krating has become very poor compared to our stay 2 years ago. It seems that the atmosphere is missing and further the resort is not being well equipped. Example, the beds at the swimming pool is very pool and half of the parasols are missing. The food at the restaurant are not the best and compared to Ao Sane very expensive. The cleaning at the rooms is very poor as well. Baan Krating have agreed with a russian agent and that will have an effect on which customers that will visit the resort as this will further have an affect on the atmosphere. It could be the best resort in Phuket but is not anymore. |

| We had a bungalow smelling verry bad because of the poison they use for repellent animals. Also we had a big rat eating our fruits and the bag where we had baby stuff...The bungalows are not verry well mainained, it s a shame because the location is nice in the forest. The beach is small but clear water. All staff are nice and helfull and they gave a nice breakfast with lot of choice. Restaurant is good but quite expensive for Thailand. |

| Сперва о минусах.
1. Расположен на отшибе - это и плюс, и минус. Боясь потерять бамперы, таксисты очень неохотно едут в отель и заламывают цену.
2. На собственном пляжике в волнение купаться опасно из-за рифа.
3. Ресторан не самый дешёвый.
А вот остальное - плюсы!
Природа, спокойствие, персонал, музыкант, интерьер и экстерьер... До Най-Харна - не так и далеко идти, а до прибрежной кафешки Ао-Сэйн - вообще 5 минут через пляж. Кстати, если уж брать таксиста на Най-Харне - лучше всего лысый толстяк на джипчике: добрый, цены не заламывает, да и машинка его дорог не боится. |

| This lovely, low key resort was perfect for a short break. We had a car so the distance from other entertainment was not a problem. The staff were friendly and efficient, including the several trainees. The pool was well maintained. The snorkling in this cove is magnificent but not the best visability at this time of year and the hotels small beach is not really safe except for confident ocean swimmers from April to November. Food was lovely and a reasonable price for a resort restaurant. Good, cheap local food only a short walk around the headland. Great place to sleep, eat, read and swim. |

| Located in the nature, just some steps from a calm beach where you can snorkle and swim very well. Friendly personal good rooms but to enjoy this uncrowded site it is recommended to rent a motobike for about 5 Euro a day to have the chance to expore the surrounding area. |

| Overall we were very happy and will definitely consider coming back again.
Like us, if you have young kids (3 kids below 6y)it is a good place for simple family holidays: very quiet, a nice modern Thai style, with 1 swimming pool,3 beaches within 10 min walk, some small restaurants, massages and good snorkling/diving spots nearby(in Ao Sane and Nai Harn beach).
If you re planning to visit and move a lot- I would recommend to rent cars/motorbikes since the place is a bit far from the main places.
In the hotel restaurant - Service is slow (like often in Thailand!) but people are nice and very helpful. The breakfast could be a bit better (for example, juices are not good - it could be easy to propose some fresh juices with local fruits/veg)
During our stay we ve had 1 problem (on arrival with our room) but the staffs listened and were very reactive. When possible they ve always tried to please us and make our stay better so we ll be happy to come back. |

| We enjoyed staying at the Baan Krating Jungle Beach. We booked four nights, but ended up staying 8 nights. We stayed in the deluxe pavillion,a lovely room.The resort is placed in a beautiful area, peaceful and quiet.The staff was friendly and very helpful.We will like to come back another time. | Very pleasant location with trees shadowing the beach and interesting snorkeling just a few metres out. We stayed in a new bungalow closest to the beach and think that it was worth the price. The restaurant was OK but the music, semi live, was not. The jungle sounds in the night would have been more enchanting |

| bad room service, bathroom not being cleaned, bad TV signal, balcony full of insects and leaves never been cleaned. Breakfast is poor and diner or a snack in the restaurant is poor. I ordered a simple hamburger and it arrived at my table almost raw.
To expensive for what it is advertised for. I stayed in the Red Ginger Phuket and that has the quality and service you expect. Baan Krating Phuket resort is a resort i will never return too. |

| We stayed in a deluxe beachfront pavillion room for 4 nights. The room was absolutely amazing, a stunning view, it had a balcony where we sat on our lounges drinking beer and looking at the view it was great. We also had a little private beach right in front of our room and I went snorkelling in the morning when the tide was high. The Hotel is very nice, the only problem is that there is not much chairs around the pool and by the beach bar. Also there are people renting chairs out on the beach that are not part of the hotel and charge 100baht per chair, we thought it was part of the hotel on the first day. There is a nice little restaurant about 10 min walk from the hotel and very cheap. Otherwise the area isn t that great and Phuket was the place a liked the least but I m glad I went there at least once. |

| At first, the hotel garden appeared somewhat overgrown, however, this may actually fit the jungle theme. The main attraction is a small rocky and sandy beach below the hotel where snokelling actually is suprisingly good. However, at low tide be aware of the risk of stepping on a Sea Urchin. We saw a few. Next door to the hotel is a splendid restaurant serving Thai food of high class at very reasonable prices. The name is Ao Sane. |

| A pearl on our earth. This hidden hotel is one of the best I ever stayed on. Lovly clean rooms, fantastic location, beach ok but a bit stony, great place to snorkel. Nearby Nai Harn beach very good, and the little town not to many tourist. Love this place.Staff, breakfast exellent, as weel as the food on the hotel, but a bit expensive. This hotel and location is the only place I would stay if I ever come back to Phuket. |

| Excellent hotel--the room was clean, spacious, open, like a spa. Natural materials used, with a jungle view. The hotel setting was beautiful, easy walk to the small beach. Outdoor eating within a spectacular setting.
The staff was efficient, kind, and friendly. Highest recommendations. This is a place of natural beauty and relaxation on an island that is otherwise overdeveloped and touristy. |

| Прежде всего, хочется сказать огромное спасибо Антону Соколову и всему сервису AsiaHotels.ru за помощь в проведение отличного отпуска. Были в Тайланде в период с 26 октября по 8 ноября. Ни каких проблем с перелетом, задержкой рейсов, встречей в аэропорту не возникло (ещё раз спасибо Антону) так что это уже радовало. Единственное, что немного омрачило наше пребывание, так это то, что когда мы приехали на Пхукет, то в полной мере ощутили на себе, что такое сезон дождей. Первые 2 дня была пасмурная погода, дождей было мало, купались в море, но последующие два дня, дождь шёл не переставая. Поговорив с людьми из нашего отеля, узнали что, с начала октября стояла солнечная, безоблачная погода и только по нашему приезду она так резко изменилась. Впечатление было подпорчено, я бы даже сказал подмочено , и мы думали, что отпуск будет испорчен. Но звезды расположились в нашу сторону и с 31 октября до окончания нашего отпуска погода была великолепная, ни дождей, ни облаков, только солнце и температура 30С.
Выбранный нами отель нам очень понравился, не смотря на то, что находился он достаточно далеко от основных пляжей Пхукета. Отдельный небольшой пляж, на котором, правда, лежаки тоже предлагали за 200 бат, но мы их не брали. Много кораллов и красивых рыбок, отличное место для снорклинга, вечером бегали по ночному пляжу ловили крабов вместе с нашим лохматым другом (местный добродуший пес отеля, котрый был с нами на протяжение всего отпуска ) БиТи.
Тем, кто не собирается брать мотороллер или машину на прокат, будет достаточно накладно ездить из отеля на другие пляжи и посещать другие достопримечательности Пхукета. Мы брали напрокат мотороллер в отеле на 10 дней обошелся 2300 бат, изначально предлагали за 3000 бат. Можно было договориться и дешевле за 1500 бат, но это уже не в отеле. Объехали почти весь остров, посетили очень много различных храмов, Большого Будду Пхукета , водопады Кату и Тон сай. Когда приедете на водопад Тон Сай можно самим прогуляться по практически непролазным джунглям, очень интересно. Мы встретили змею, несколько ящериц и множество разных насекомых. Ещё заезжали на ферму орхидей, входной билет 200 бат, выдают вместо билета букет орхидей.
Заезжали на пляжи Най харн, Ката, Карон, Патонг и Сурин, из всех пляжей больше всего понравился наш пляж при отеле. Практически каждый вечер мы ужинали в кафе After beach. Это потрясающее место, оформленное в растаманском стиле, где играет регги, находится на обрыве над пляжем Ката, по дороге 4233 между пляжами Карон и Най харн. Встречу заката в этом месте словами, к сожалению, не описать.
Общее впечатление от проведенных дней на Пхукете не забываемое, нам очень понравилось. Надеюсь когда-нибудь туда вернуться. |

| Hotel was nice. Breakfast was good. Menu items a little expensive. Location a little removed, so do not book if you want to be in the heart of the action. If you want a peaceful, romantic getaway this is location for you! Staff excellent. Little beach very nice and private. Close to bigger beach at Nai Harn and this is a free shuttle back and forth at 10 and 4. 200Baht by taxi back to the hotel from Nai Harn is expensive. Excellent local restaurant a short walk. I would book again. |

| Great place to relax. A fantastic flora and animal life. A lot of delux bungalows in a very nice area, which is formated as a jungle. Nice and comfortable. Very good restaurant and nice snorkling. We were very good taken care of. A 10 minutes walk to the big beach with all the restaurants, can get pretty dark at night though. One minus: the massage is not so good and effective. |

| We stayed the first 3 nights of our stay in Phuket at this hotel. It s a nice hotel with efficient staff. Quiet and peaceful with its private beach. It s quite far to everything though, so if you re looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday this is the place. Otherwise, stay at a hotel nearer town. We arranged for airport pickup and can definitely recommend it because of it s location.
The beach, though beautiful & scenic, is not quite suitable for swimming. It s full of rocks and the sand is quite coarse. There s a nice beach about 20 mins. walk away.
Our bungalow was very nice with its own balcony overlooking the sea. The dog, owned by the manager & well-behaved, makes the place feels homely.
Dinner at the restaurant is not as cheap as in town but convenient. The life music together with the surrounding makes it romantic. |

| We stayed at this resort for 3 nights, keep in mind that because this hotel is pretty isolated, you would spend most of your time here. There is a nice beach a 20 minute walk, but it s a bit inconvenient to go there... We had a great time staying at the resort: swimming in the pool, snorkeling in the sea (there is a small private beach, although it is not well taken care of and rather rocky for tanning, it was not bad for snorkeling, we saw some amazing looking fish), we played billiards and had a massage.
Since we were there during the low season, there were only 2 or 3 other couples besides us, we barely crossed each other s ways... at night, the service would set all the tables of the restaurant as if it were full season, which made it look beautiful. When we had dinner there, it was just the two of us in the restaurant with about 10 waiters ready to serve and a singer/musician creating the atmosphere. He wasn t very good, but it made us laugh and made the place seem all the more charming.
We would definitely come back again! |

| The Baan Krating Resort is set in a very private position among lush jungle, overlooking the ocean. The resort is about 15 minutes walk from Nai Harn beach, offering the privacy and calm we were looking for but also the option to wander into town for meals or day trips to the beach.
Our bungalow was spacious, clean and comfortable, albeit in need of a little attention (balcony had some exposed nails and shower drained slowly). We visited during the low season and had perfect weather for the first week of our stay followed by two rainy days.
Staff were super-friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was a great place to dine, both in terms of atmosphere and the standard of food. The Thai dishes were particularly good, so we didn t eat a great deal of western, but the sandwiches and salads were fresh and tasty.
I d highly recommend this resort for people who want peace and quiet, and who are visiting Phuket to unwind.
As a side note, we ate every couple of nights at a restaurant called On the Rocks which you pass on your way into town from the resort. Not only did we eat fabulous, fresh meals, but the view was perfect. |
