| We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel location couldent be better. Friendly staff, nice and clean room and great pool area. But we had appreciated if all guests had had swimpants/bikinis in the pool instead of old worned out underwear. |

| We had booked an Ocean View room, but when we arrived they tried to put us in the rear building with a view of the neighbor building only a few meters away. So they moved us to the front building and we had a view of the parking lot and the roof of the next hotel. If they advertise a sea view, they should give us one. |

| We booked 3 deluxe rooms with pool view but the hotel upgraded us to deluxe rooms with pool access. We did not use the pool though as it is too deep for our young children. The children s swimming pool at the common pool area is very small so it s not really an ideal place to stay for families with young children who want to enjoy the pool facilities. Another suggestion for improvement is to install clothing hooks on the bathroom door as there is no place to hang our clothes during shower. Breakfast spread is the same everyday. We stayed 3 nights and by the last day of breakfast, I am quite sick of eating the same food again. Also, 3 adults in our group started having diarrhoea after eating the breakfast on the last day. One had it while at the airport about 2 hours after breakfast. The other two had it after we reached home about 5 to 6 hours later. They had not taken other food after that breakfast. Location of the resort is good with the beach just across the road and many shops and eating places in its vicinity. The hotel staff s service is satisfactory. |

| Pros: Nice staff, good breakfast, big pool, room was great. We got some ciggarett smoke in our room from the neighbours and the hotel offered us a new room immediately. Close to the beach. Big market directly outside hotel.
Cons: To many rude russians as guests. Had to walk some minutes to get to the central of Karon. |

| We had a wonderful stay - the staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and spacious and the location across from the beach was excellent. Easy walk to lots of eating places. Lots of swimming in the hotel pool - always had spare sunbeds available. Good breakfast - loads of food and good variety (I liked the Asian options and my husband liked the bacon and eggs!) Would definitely return. |

| Terrific, especially when with good friends.
However, the Eastern European guests were rude with very poor manners, which was disappointing considering they are now allowed to travel ouside the eastern blockade. The Thai people agreed with me whole heartedly as the Russians didn t spend any money either.
I have since found out that manners and common decency are not included in there up bringing, Sad. |

| What a beautiful resort. The rooms were huge and new. We loved everything about the resort. The food was great. We had the pool access room and getting into the swimming pool from our room was just perfect. We will be back again very soon. |

| The hotel is decent. But they charge at all corners. Internet fee 75THB for half an hour. Phone call ~30THB for a minute. Yes you didnt read it wrong, it s ~1USD for a minute! While we had a local pre-paid mobile card which charged only 1BTH per min. The phone bill for ~6 mins freaked us out at the check-out but luckily we got some leftover THB money enough to make it. A lot of flies at its open air restaurant which was a great annoyance to us. Staff is friendly though, and the swimming pool is quite nice. Location is good, just to the other side of the road and you already hit the beach. Conclusion anyway: not recommended. If you want to spend the money, try other resorts, either the Hilton one or the Tharvon Palm Beach. If you dont, walk down to the Karon center and you ll find lots of good deals, as low as 500THB for a room with air-con and hot water and all (excluding breakfast). |

| отдыхали в период с 1 февраля по 13. Могу поставить твердую 4 . Отличное месторасположение, буквально в 3-х минутах шикарный пляж Карон, недалеко различные магазинчики . рестораны. Ресторан отеля интересного интерьера с видом на море, готовят очень хорошо, привлекательная стоимость. Завтраки достаточно разнообразные. Территория отеля очень маленькая, но нам кроме бассейна ничего и не надо было. Бассейн вполне достаточный для того, чтобы поплавать, покидать мяч, да и просто побеситься. Кстати у второго корпуса есть еще один небольшой бассейн. Номера очень приятные, всегда было чисто и хорошо пахло магнолией. Персонал быстро реагировал на замечания (у друзей в номере не работал душ, починили в 3 минуты). В общем я бы рекомендовала всем -отличное соотношение цены -качества |

| nice location,close to the beach; kind staff at the desk, and helpfull with some little problems at my room;description of the rooms not clear: just only the groundfloor is garden view , but at the 2nd,3d,and 4th floor the rooms are seaview , but
only a few of them are really seaview!
The breakfast is poor, and the food sometimes far from fresh.
Overall: a rather good hotel, but asks for renovation; price/quality not good.
The hotel next-door: Karon Princess-hotel looks better, and so are the prices overthere. |

| Good standard hotel with excelent service, everyday. Room cleaning everyday and we got new bedclothes and towels everyday as well. Hard wooden chairs without pillow at the terrace are the only problem that we can point out. Perfect location, next to the sandy beach and a lot of resturants. |

| Great Location right at Karon Beach and next to restaurants and small shopping area. Staff was very friendly and service was good. Rooms were clean. However this hotel is in urgent need for renovation as it seems not a lot has been done in the last years. Thai-style kingsize beds: just put together 2 single beds and hope that guests don t realize it. The open plugs right at the top of the bed were even hazardous. Prices are on the high side but this is the price to pay for Phuket in general. Breakfast was very nice, could offer more variations though. Tip: rent a motorbike to avoid rip-off fares from the tuk tuks when going to Patong (especially at night!). |

| The hotel is allright but the Servis is poor. We paid for a Oceanview but got another room without any compensation. When we mentioned this for the Reception manager we were treated disrespectfully. She (the manager)is obviously misplaced!I m going to talk to the General manager about this!

Compulsory gala dinners which cost me a total of 13000 baht or $450.00 ( and that was for the food only)is a joke and needs to be removed. The food was decent, but there was no complimatary drink of any kind, no bottle of wine, even water had to be purchased extra. The show was a joke. Both the christmas and new year dinners we left by 9pm because they were so bad. As far as i m concerned this is a very bad attempt at cash grabbing by the hotel. |

| The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The position of the hotel is a bit far from the actual main part of Karon Beach but there is a market next door where you can get almost everything but you really need to bargain hard. There a are some great restaurants and massage places close by those being the Ging restaurant and Master Massage. We had to go to the compulsory New Years dinner at 3500TBH per person. The food was great but the performances were very poor. Alot of money for such poor performances. We had a great stay there and i would recommend it. |

| Fantastic resort, would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again. We stayed in the the deluxe sea view rooms, they were very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good, the staff helpful and friendly, the restaurant was really nice and the prices and quality of food was up there compared to the other restaurants in the area. Karon beach is beautiful. |

| We have been to Thailand three times and always stayed at Baan Karonburi Resort.We are more than satisfied with everything.The staff is friendly and always there for you.We have been eating in different restaurants but we came to the conclusion the food was absolutly best in the hotel restaurant Laithai.Try Red Snapper,you will find no fishbone at all.If you want to have a free lesson in thai don´t bee afraid to ask what it is in thai,they will be more than pleased to teach you.We enjoyed our visit very much and will return again an other time. |

| This is a lovely hotel situated on the beachfront on Karon Beach away from the hectic nightlife on other beaches which can be easily visited by tuk-tuk or taxi.hotel buffet breakfast enoromous variety great and cleanliness fautless. | I was fairly disappointed by the hotel for the following reasons:
* Upon arrival at 4pm, had to wait another 45 minutes before the rooms were ready - we ordered two rooms and the rooms ended up being on either ends of the hotel
* Would not give me two room cards which made it hard for us to go our separate ways
* Charged 200 baht for a lost room card
* Charged 650 baht for a lost towel which would likely be in the other room
* Charged more for a mini bus back to the airport than it did for going to the hotel from the airport (1300 baht as opposed to 1000 baht) and it was late
Little items like that added up and made the the experience bad. |

| We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff went out of their way to fulfill all our requests.
We were upgraded to a sea view Deluxe from a Garden view Superior on arrival. We found the room and facilities to be above par for the price we paid. The swimming pool is small but adequate and our 3-year old daughter found the kids pool to be a lot of fun. A note to the pool access room seekers: the pools that can be accessed from the rooms probably are not as clean as the main pool.
The breakfast does not spoil you for choices but the view of the sea makes sure that your day starts off on the right note. The chef however is very friendly & accomodating and served us pancakes everyday after hearing how much my wife liked them (they were not a regular item on the breakfast buffet).
There are sports bars nearby (Angus O Tools has big screens and a lively crowd) where you can catch all the important sporting events.
We also recommend the Family Seafood Restaurant No.1 (turn right on Karon Circle and keep going till you see it on the right) for excellent fresh seafood at unbeatable prices.
Overall, we found the hotel, the staff as well as the surrounding Karon beach area and people to be most welcoming. We will definitely consider going back to this hotel. |

| We only stayed for one day. The room was very nice and clean. Most of the beds in Thailand are hard, the bed here was comfortable. The in-room safe wouldn t shut properly and they sent an engineer to fix it within 10 minutes. Because of our short stay, we didn t get a chance to even look at the pool, but it looked pretty inviting from the photos and we didn t get to enjoy the outdoor patio that every room had. There was a big night event across the street, but it was over by the time we returned to our room so the music didnt bother us. There is a great shopping area that had great prices and one shop at the front had better souveniers than most places. I expected the area to be less crowded, but it was a good thing. Taxi prices to next beach Patong was consistently 400 baht. After heavy negotiating, we were able to go for 250. We didn t get to try to breakfast but most places served the same American breakfast. I would visit the hotel again. |
